Radio Maria Ireland - A Christian voice in your home

Radio Maria Ireland is an Irish organisation staffed by dedicated professional and volunteer staff. It operates as a not-for-profit, non-commercial, internet-streaming radio station. Our goal is to expand our broadcasting capabilities through DAB, cable and satellite, in order to reach a wider audience.

Though not directly connected with the Roman Catholic Church, Radio Maria operates as an instrument of the Church and as a tool for evangelization. It is obedient to the Magisterium of the Holy Catholic Church.

Our aim is to bring Christ into every Irish home through home-produced programmes that serve the spiritual, educational and social needs of listeners – both at home and abroad – while having a profound respect for the specific diversity and richness of each ethnic group.

Radio Maria Ireland in a spirit of total trust in Divine providence, relies totally on the financial support of its listeners and friends. Advertising or sponsorship is not permitted. Radio Maria Ireland is not subsidised or funded by the Catholic Church. This model has proved successful for the 75 Radio Maria stations that currently operate around the world.

The umbrella body of Radio Maria, the World Family of Radio Maria (WFRM), has its legal headquarters in Rome, Italy. The administrative and technical office are based in Casciago, near Milan. WFRM shares its expertise and know-how with Radio Maria Ireland in order to help it achieve its mission. This enables us to ensure that our office and broadcasting facilities operate to the highest professional, technical and editorial standards.

In essence, Radio Maria is about reawakening our faith, is a call to conversion and a return to prayer, culminating in helping the Church in its mission to save souls. Hence, Radio Maria has a very strong missionary dimension, where all who work there are apostles and witnesses to Christ.

We ask Our Lady for her protection, so that we may always remain faithful to our Mission Statement:

wonderful to listen to my family listen all the time and they introduced me to your station. keep up your good work. you gave us all so much peace and rest. pray that i will stop worry become more postive have my health problems sorted to return to good health. find a good sheltered flat quickly and easily to live in. anyone with cancer and no one to pray for them. holy souls rip

Dear all. Thank God and His Blessed Mother for the gift of you all and Radio Maria. I started tuning in for the Holy Rosary in March 2020 "by accident" and have not been able to turn it off since! My neighbours get to hear it too from my garden in the good weather. I and my family are especially grateful for the health program as we have been taking the vitamins recommended during a programme in March and which have really built up our immunity. The respect with which people are treated on the airwaves is inspiring and a great example. Thank you all again.
Just want to thank you all for bringing such a wonderful radio station, directly into our home- it is such a source of comfort for my mother, following a severe stroke and cancer - we love the family Rosary and say the Angelus with you daily. Keep up the good work from the Orchard County....

Radio Maria India is affected by poor internet connection now and then. Kindly help them to instal a permanent solution so that we listeners get an uninterruptible broadcast. Maria Bless You!
I listen to Radio Maria every weekday.
I was one of the Timpeall na Tithe trad group who played music at the Radio Maria station yesterday Wednesday 27 March. It was a very interesting experience and I learned alot more about Radio Maria. I had been passing the venue for many years on way home from work. I will tune in now frequently now that I have found the station and can pray and listen to the beautiful readings, psalms, discussions and music on the station.
I love this radio station. Especially the morning prayers of the Church, after 9.15am. Morning Prayer is full of beautiful psalms and readings. It has enriched my life. Catechism also is very informative and interesting. Great company when you are living alone as the people who run the station are happy and genuine. I pray the rosary after 5pm with Radio Maria. It brings great peace to this house.
